Description

40 2006 HOLIDAY RAMBLER ENDEAVOR, DST: 2 BATHS, 3 SLIDES = $149,500

The folks who buy this coach will get a super-clean motor home, in excellent condition that has been pampered and gently driven for 26,700 miles over the past four years. It has a unique interior design, plus two separate bathrooms. The original list price was $234,302. Our tow car (see below) is also available for sale.

We are the original owners; we custom designed the interior, and took delivery from the factory in January 2006. We've done all required maintenance, and have an extended warranty that goes through January 2011, which can be extended. When you purchase this coach, I'll be happy to personally show/train you on the various operating systems, if desired, including driving/parking the coach, too. For taxes and financing, many motor homes are considered 2nd homes.

This coach is in excellent condition in everyway; we are non-smokers, have no pets and take pride in keeping the coach in top shape. We just had it fully serviced by a Cummins service center in Phoenix, before driving it to Olympia, WA. The coach travels easily at freeway speeds and bounds up hills without effort, even with our tow-car. It handles remarkably well on curvy, two-lane back roads, too. With its large rear-view mirrors, huge windshield, and 3 back-up cameras, parking the coach in tight places is a snap.

Our coach features a Roadmaster Chassis, and a 400 H.P Cummins with Allison, 6-speed electronic, auto-shifter transmission that out-pulls all the semi's and most other RVs on mountain grades. We had installed an enhanced and upgraded PAC-Brake that uses the engine to slow the coach when descending steep grades. There are 8 outboard-mounted air bags, and 8 Monroe shock absorbers. Another great feature of this coach is its push-button, totally automatic, hydraulic leveling system.

This model has 3 slides and 2 baths: a half bath in the middle of the coach, plus a full bath in the rear of the coach. The rear bath has a large, one-piece fiberglass bathtub and shower, a china toilet, vanity and sink, a washer/dryer, and an oversized wardrobe closet. The half bath has a china toilet, vanity and sink, plus additional storage. This 2-bath layout is perfect for folks who want their own private bathroom.

The bedroom, which is on a slide out, is located forward of the rear-bath, has a walk-around queen-sized bed with headboard and twin nightstands; there is a television with remote, and a ton of storage areas, including a cavernous space under the bed. There are three windows that provide great cross breezes. The windows throughout the coach have day and night pleated shades for privacy.

There is a separate A/C and heat pump for both the bedroom and living room. The coach also has separate propane furnaces for each of two living zones (front and back of the coach) that quickly heat the space. Attic fans in the main salon and both baths provide more than adequate ventilation. The main salon fan is rain-sensitive.

The kitchen has a 3-burner propane cook-top and stainless-steel combination micro-wave/convection oven. There is a large capacity stainless-steel, four-door refrigerator with freezer and ice-maker, which operates on either electricity or propane (it switches automatically to propane if electricity is shut off or is unavailable). There is a 10-gallon hot water tank that operates on either electricity or propane.

All counter tops are Corian, and there is Newport Cherry cabinetry throughout the coach. The kitchen's double-sink has an upgraded faucet, and a separate faucet for filtered water. This unique coach has an adjacent computer workstation to the kitchen, increasing the countertop kitchen work space by more than 6 sq. ft.

The custom workstation also includes a Sharp 26 flat screen LCD TV connected to a fully automatic digital satellite, and home theater systems with CD, DVD and VHS player; there are 2 file drawers, and 2 large cupboards for storage. Directly across from the television is a comfortable fabric sofa that converts into a double (powered) recliner, and two ottomans, perfect for television viewing. For extra seating there is also an Ultra-Leather recliner chair, with ottoman, that has both heat and massage.

The dinette table has two main chairs; the table can be enlarged to seat 4 (there are 2 matching folding chairs stored under the bed). Overhead, there are 6 large cabinets that run the length of the dining room/living room. The kitchen floor is ceramic tile, as is the entry and both bathrooms. The living room, dining room and bedroom are carpeted.

In the cockpit, the huge, unobstructed, one-piece windshield with individually powered sun visors, makes driving this coach a pleasure. The driver and co-pilot seats are 6-way powered, with soft Ultra-Leather material, and the co-pilots seat has a powered foot rest. The 6 chairs both swivel 180 degrees to provide additional seating when parked.

For safety, there are LP-Gas, smoke, and carbon-monoxide detectors. There are 2 mergency egress windows, fire extinguisher, 3-point integrated seat belts, and dead-bolt lock on the front door. The door also has a keyless entry remote.

Outside, there is a huge Eclipse powered patio awning, and entrance door awning. In addition to the other outside storage compartments, there are 2 basement cargo areas that extend the width of the coach, one has pass-thru slide-out tray that can be accessed from either side of the coach. All compartments have side-hinged doors for easy access. The coach's 25' main power cable (50/30/20 AMP) is mounted on an electric-powered spindle. There is a 2000 watt inverter, and an Onan 8,000 KW quiet diesel, auto-start generator, for all electrical needs when dry camping. The coach carries 100 gallons of diesel, 100 gallons of fresh water, has 60 gallons capacity gray and 40 gallons for black tanks, and 35 gallons of propane, making it 100% self-contained.

Two years ago we purchased new a 4X4 Ford Escape HYBRID (2008, now with 15,000 miles), to pull behind the coach. It tows with four wheels down, and has a premium, Blue Ox Tow-bar system. If the tow car is wanted, price is $29,500 and we will consider a package price for both.

Also, if desired, the coach comes with kitchenware, vacuum cleaner, set of tools, water hoses, outside chairs and tables, ladder, area rug, tire covers, cleaning supplies, etc. Traveling in the coach has been a very special and gratifying experience for us. Our reason for selling: we recently purchased a home in Hawaii that is equipped with everything we need.

There is far more to show and explain about the coach. Please call 360-791-2700 with questions and to set an appointment to see it. We are parked at the Nisqually Plaza RV Park in Olympia, WA, at exit 114, next to Interstate 5.
